Get out your Easter baskets and get ready for the Choctaw Easter Egg Hunt! The hunt will occur on March 26, at 11 a.m. at Choctaw Creek Park. It is sponsored by the Choctaw Public Recreation Board and is free to the public! The Choctaw City Staff hides approximately 10,000 candy-filled eggs throughout the park. Among those eggs, there will be about 15 marked eggs that will give the lucky finders an Easter basket or other prize.

The five age categories for the hunts are as follows:

-Up to two (2) years old
-Three (3) to four (4) years old
-Five (5) to seven (7) years old
-Eight (8) to ten (10) years old
-Eleven (11) to twelve (12) years old

The first age category will begin at 11 a.m., with the subsequent age categories beginning as the previous ones finish. Throughout the race, children will be observed for the “best Easter bonnet,” and the winner will receive a prize—don’t forget to dress your little bunny in their Easter best.
