Fall, fall, fall! Linked discusses a favorite topic for this month's top five.

We Are Linked

We Are Linked

What does it mean to be Linked?

For all of us at Linked Magazine, we strive each month to strengthen our connection with the local community. We bring you stories about local events, introduce you to new restaurants and even have the privilege to feature people who are making an impact throughout the community.

We love the unique connection that we share with all of you. This month, however, we’ve done something a little different. We’ve decided to tell you our story, because what’s more linked than an exchange of stories?

New Year, New Look

At the beginning of this year, Linked Magazine embarked on a new journey. As is common with the start of a new year, change was in the air, and we wanted to refocus on our link with the community.

We decided to get a new look, focusing on a photo-intensive layout with more colors. Our goal was to make our magazine more enjoyable to read and peruse and to highlight what makes your community a great place to live and grow. We also set out to capture the beauty of the community around us, through both stunning photography and inspiring content.

Our Team

Every issue of Linked takes a team of people to create. Our team is a close-knit crew, and each team member is an integral part of the process. Let’s meet the team!

Jonathan Burkhart is our lead photographer. He helps brainstorm art ideas to pair with stories and has an amazing eye for getting a great shot. He also assists during the layout process in ensuring that the photo quality is at its best before it goes to print.

Daniel Mudliar is our secondary photographer. He assists Jonathan in collecting photos to go into the magazine, as well as photoshoots and headshots. Daniel brings an artistic flair and different perspective to Linked’s photography.

Jill Mitchell, Trisha Anderson and Lauren Carter all work diligently to ensure that magazine clients are correctly represented throughout the magazine with accurate advertisements.

Brian Ward contributes to nearly every ad, working hard to design each and every one placed into the magazine.

Emily Orcutt keeps us all in check, helping with edits, processes and the general day-to-day of the magazine process.

Widha Gautam is our stellar content intern. Her talent for getting a good story adds that little something extra to each piece that she writes.

Then, there’s me. As the publications manager for the magazine, my role is multi-faceted. Throughout the month, I brainstorm story ideas, communicate with every member of the Linked team, coordinate photos, write stories, handle Linked website maintenance and lay out and design the magazine.

Each month we strive to bring relevant, hyper-local content to our readers and to connect different parts of the community to one another. Every magazine is made possible by the hard work and dedication of the Linked team.

Moving Forward

As we look toward the end of the year and focus on the coming months for Linked, we continue to work toward new and better ways to bring you local content. We know that the media industry is constantly changing, and we look forward to evolving in a way that maintains our connection with the community.

Because after all, we are Linked.
